1. What We Do

FestMeet is a platform designed to help organizers manage events and allow users to register and participate. Currently, all events are created and managed by the FestMeet admin on behalf of organizers. User participation is voluntary and may include free or paid registration.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this platform. By registering or using FestMeet, you confirm that:

  • You are legally able to enter into this agreement,
  • All information you provide is accurate and truthful.

3. User Responsibilities

By using FestMeet, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering or submitting payments.
  • Respect the rules and entry criteria set for each event.
  • Not use FestMeet for fraudulent, abusive, or disruptive behavior.

4. Event Criteria and Registration

Some events may include specific participation requirements. Users must meet all criteria truthfully to join such events. Misrepresentation may result in disqualification or removal.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Manual Payment Process

Some events may require a fee. FestMeet currently uses manual payment methods (e.g., bank transfer, mobile payment). Users are responsible for:

  • Completing the payment via provided methods,
  • Submitting valid transaction ID,
  • Providing basic payment information (such as sender name, number, or screenshot if requested).

5.2 Payment Verification

We verify transactions manually. Your registration will be confirmed only after successful verification. Processing may take time depending on volume and payment provider.

5.3 No Automatic Refunds

All payments are considered final once verified. Refunds are only possible in specific situations (e.g., event cancellation by the organizer) and are handled case-by-case.

5.4 Third-Party Payment Services

FestMeet is not responsible for failures, delays, or errors caused by third-party payment providers (e.g., bKash, Rocket, Nagad, bank gateways). You agree to bear any charges or issues that arise from using those services.

6. Data Usage & Privacy

We collect and store the information you provide (name, email, contact, transaction details) solely to manage event participation and payment validation.

We do not share or sell your data to third parties. By submitting payment info, you consent to its use for verification purposes only.

7. Content & Rights

All event-related data or submissions can be reviewed or removed if they violate platform rules or mislead others.

You retain ownership of your information but grant FestMeet the right to store, use, and display it for platform functionality.

8. Limitation of Liability

FestMeet provides its services “as-is.” We do not guarantee:

  • That an event will occur exactly as planned,
  • That payment verification will be instant or error-free,
  • Or that you will receive refunds unless approved.

We are not responsible for loss, delay, or inconvenience caused by payment failures, organizer-side changes, or user misentries.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to FestMeet for:

  • Fraudulent payment attempts,
  • Repeated false information,
  • Violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated. Your continued use of FestMeet after changes means you accept the new Terms.
